## Candidate Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

General and Educational Prerequisites
* Age Limit: Applicants must be between 25 and 40 years old.
* Residency: Must hold a valid official identity document along with a legal residence and work permit in Japan. Student or internship visas are strictly ineligible.
* Educational Background: Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1), preferably in Economics, Development Economics, Business/Management, International Trade, International Relations, Economic Law, or Statistics. A proven track record of teamwork is strongly preferred.

Language Proficiency
* For Indonesian Citizens (WNI): Must demonstrate a Japanese language proficiency of at least Level N2, verified by an official certificate.
* For Japanese Citizens (WN Jepang): Must demonstrate proficiency in both Indonesian and English, validated through formal certification or interview assessments conducted by the KBRI Tokyo HR Team.

Technical and Personal Competencies
* Character: Must exhibit good moral standing with a clean legal record, free from any criminal convictions in Indonesia or abroad, confirmed via a signed written statement.
* Software Literacy: Proficient in MS Office suite—particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for creating professional presentation materials—as well as graphic design applications like Canva.
* Driving Credentials: Must possess a valid automobile driver's license (SIM) issued by the relevant Japanese authorities.
* Health and Presentation: Physically fit, backed by a medical certificate required upon advancing to the interview stage.
* Professional Edge: Prior work experience within government bodies, foreign missions, chambers of commerce, economic research institutions, Japanese corporations, or organizations managing Indonesia-Japan business relations will serve as a distinct advantage.
* Conflict of Interest Policy: Must not have any conflicts of interest with current Home Staff or Local Staff members at KBRI Tokyo—including familial, marital, or relative ties—and must agree to disclose and manage any potential conflicts in accordance with applicable regulations.
