## Role Overview: Environmental Enforcement Sanction Analysis Staff
IMIP is currently seeking a diligent and analytical Environmental Enforcement Sanction Analysis Staff member to join its team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the park's commitment to environmental stewardship, regulatory compliance, and sustainable industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for upholding strict environmental standards through systematic oversight and enforcement. Primary duties include:
* Compliance Analysis: Reviewing findings from environmental audits and inspections to identify potential breaches and assess levels of compliance.
* Regulatory Enforcement: Categorizing environmental violations and formulating appropriate administrative sanctions or corrective recommendations in line with current legislation.
* Documentation and Reporting: Drafting accurate and systematic evaluation reports, official records, and comprehensive documentation regarding environmental compliance.
* Corrective Action Monitoring: Tracking the implementation of corrective measures to ensure that identified violations are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
* Data Management: Maintaining a secure database of environmental incidents, status updates, and relevant supporting evidence for regulatory reporting.
* Regulatory Review: Analyzing environmental permits and reporting obligations for the company and its tenants to ensure full adherence to legal requirements.
* Inter-departmental Coordination: Collaborating with technical, legal, and compliance teams to facilitate environmental enforcement and corporate governance.
* Continuous Improvement: Proposing enhancements to environmental control systems and risk mitigation strategies to prevent future non-compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
To succeed in this role, applicants must demonstrate a blend of technical expertise and analytical rigor. The ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Experience: A minimum of 1–2 years of professional experience in environmental compliance, auditing, legal governance, or environmental regulation.
* Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of environmental regulations, including waste management (hazardous and non-hazardous), emission standards, water quality, and environmental permit frameworks.
* Analytical Skills: Proven ability to evaluate complex environmental data, interpret legal documents, and develop actionable recommendations.
* Reporting Proficiency: Exceptional skill in creating detailed reports, official minutes, and documentation.
* Software Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with data visualization or reporting dashboard tools is highly valued.
* Soft Skills: Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities, coupled with high personal integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
