## Core Responsibilities of the Safety Officer
The appointed candidate will serve as a frontline guardian of occupational health and safety (HSE), implementing stringent protocols tailored to demanding geothermal environments. Key daily duties include:
* Risk Assessment & Documentation: Formulate comprehensive Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Controls (HIRADC) documents before initiating any operational tasks.
* Permit Management: Prepare, submit, and eventually close out Permit to Work (PTW) documents seamlessly upon job completion.
* Equipment & PPE Oversight: Inspect work tools and machinery to verify that certifications and competencies are fully valid. Guarantee that every worker is equipped with complete, high-quality Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Environmental Monitoring: Execute precise hydrogen sulfide ($H_2S$) gas measurements prior to commencing site activities.
* HSE Leadership: Lead Pre-Job Safety Meetings (PJS), supervise ongoing fieldwork to enforce strict HSE standards, and maintain meticulous activity logs.
* Reporting & Training: Draft detailed HSE performance reports and conduct targeted safety training and awareness sessions for field personnel.
## Candidate Qualifications and Prerequisites

* Professional Background: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working as a Safety Officer within the oil and gas sector, with a strong emphasis on oil well operations.
* Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated capability in drafting JSA, TRA, and HIRADC documents, alongside a deep understanding of Pertamina PTW systems.
* Specialized Training: Must have successfully attended Safety Induction and Kerja Aman (SIKA) training.
* Gas Monitoring Skills: Proven ability to independently conduct accurate $H_2S$ gas measurements in the field.
* Mandatory Certifications: Possession of a valid Oil & Gas HSE Certification is strictly required.
