## Position Overview: Logistics Operator
As a Logistics Operator at SIMCO, you will play a crucial role in bridging our manufacturing prowess with seamless supply chain execution. You will handle daily logistical workflows, manage inventory flow, and ensure that our production floor operates smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
* Execute daily logistics operations, including accurate inventory storage, precise goods recording, and meticulous packaging.
* Operate production machinery and strictly adhere to established Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks such as visual inspections, lubrication, and minor component replacements.
* Handle material transport and warehouse tasks utilizing a forklift safely and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate digital and manual inventory records using basic computer systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Uphold workplace safety by strictly complying with Occupational Health and Safety (K3) regulations and practicing the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
To thrive in this role, applicants must meet the following professional and technical criteria:
* Education: Minimum high school diploma or vocational school (SMA/SMK) background, with a preference for technical majors such as Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering.
* Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on working experience within a manufacturing, logistics, or maintenance environment.
* Licensing: Must possess a valid and active Class A driving license (SIM A) for operational duties.
* Technical Skills: Certified or proven ability to operate a forklift, familiarity with reading SOPs, and competence in basic computer usage (Excel or inventory systems).
* Soft Skills: High level of personal initiative, strong accountability, excellent teamwork, effective communication skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
* Work Ethic: High discipline, meticulous in record-keeping, and a strong commitment to organizational cleanliness and maintenance standards.
