## Position Available: Junior Operator
We are currently recruiting for the position of Junior Operator to be based at our facility in Cilamaya, Karawang. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Operations Department, ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of our advanced power generation systems.
Core Responsibilities
As a Junior Operator, you will serve on the frontline of plant activities. Your primary duties will include:
* Operational Oversight: Safely and efficiently monitor Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCP) systems.
* System Management: Execute plant equipment start-ups, shutdowns, and routine regulation processes.
* Maintenance Support: Conduct regular inspections, meticulously record operational data, and immediately report any equipment abnormalities.
* Technical Compliance: Interpret complex technical documentation, including P&IDs, logic diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Resource Monitoring: Assist with water treatment processes, chemical system monitoring, and waste management.
* Team Collaboration: Maintain clear communication during shift handovers and adhere strictly to safety, quality, and environmental protocols.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
1. Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
2. Professional Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in operations, ideally within a power plant or heavy industry setting. Exceptional fresh graduates with strong technical foundations are also encouraged to apply.
3. Technical Competency: A solid grasp of CCP operations, power plant terminology, and the ability to analyze technical drawings and P&IDs.
4. Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
5. Flexibility and Attitude: Willingness to work rotating shifts, a proactive mindset, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a high-performance team.
