## General Application Requirements
Before submitting your candidacy, ensure you meet the foundational criteria mandated for all applicants:
* Educational Background:
* Officer Positions: Minimum high school diploma (SMA), Diploma III, Diploma IV, or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized maritime academy or equivalent institution.
* Rating Positions: Minimum high school or vocational school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
* Curriculum Vitae (CV): An updated, detailed professional resume.
* Police Clearance (SKCK): Original or legally certified active police record certificate.
* Drug-Free Certificate: Official clearance issued recently by a recognized hospital or law enforcement agency.
* Contract Commitment: Willingness to fulfill the agreed-upon employment contract without resigning prematurely.
## Specific Qualifications and Certifications
To ensure compliance with strict maritime standards, candidates must possess the appropriate Certificate of Competency (COC) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in alignment with STCW 2010 regulations.
1. Certificate of Competency (COC) Requirements
* Masters & Deck Officers: Minimum ANT-IV.
* Engine Officers: Minimum ATT-IV.
* Ratings: Minimum Rating Forming Part of a Navigational Watch (RFPNW), Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch (RFPEW), or Ship’s Cook Certificate (specifically for cooks).
Bonus Advantage:* Hands-on sailing experience aboard Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessels or similar ship types.
2. Certificate of Proficiency (COP) Requirements (STCW 2010 Compliant)
* Masters & Deck Officers: BST, SCRB, AFF, MFA, SSO, CMT, CMHB, MC, RS, AS, BRM, along with ECDIS and IMDG Code certifications (mandatory for Captains and Chief Mates).
* Chief Engineers & Engine Officers: BST, SCRB, AFF, MFA, SSO, CMT, CMHB, MC, and ERM.
* Ratings: BST, SCRB, AFF, SAT, and MFA.
Specialized Add-ons:* Possession of GMDSS and ORU certificates provides a strong competitive edge (mandatory specifically for Masters and First Mates).
3. Validity of Essential Documents
* Safety Certificates: BST (MSC) and SCRB certificates must maintain a minimum validity of six (6) months.
* Medical Fitness: Official health certificate issued by the Seafarers' Occupational Health Center (BKKP) must remain valid for at least six (6) months.
* Seaman’s Book: Must feature a minimum validity period of six (6) months.
